Katrin Eckermann Secures Third Consecutive Win at LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach

The Longines Global Champions Tour was back in Miami Beach, after sitting out last years season and once again showcased thrilling competitions and top-tier equestrian sport.
For a third consecutive year, Katrin Eckermann claimed victory, solidifying her dominance in this prestigious event. Jack Whitaker and Piergiorgio Bucci completed the podium, taking second and third places respectively.
Hattrick for Eckermann in Miami Beach
Winning the LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach is no small feat. The event attracts the world’s best show jumpers, Eckermann’s third consecutive win speaks volumes about her consistency and ability to perform under pressure.
She captured the wins in the 2023 and 2024 LGCT Miami Beach Grand Prix's with the horse Iron Dames Cala Mandia and now the 2026 LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach with Iron Dames Dialou Blue PS.
Jack Whitaker’s Strong Performance
Jack Whitaker’s second-place finish was a highlight for many fans. Aboard Izara de Dames he jumped double clear to take the second place in the prestigious Grand Prix.
Piergiorgio Bucci’s Third Place to finish the podium
Piergiorgio Bucci rounded out the top three with a solid performance. He jumped double clear with the horse Pallieter vd N. Ranch, to finish just behind Eckermann and Whitaker.
Eckermann takes top points for the overall standings
Due to the first stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Doha being cancelled, this concludes the first event of the season. Katrin takes the top points for the overall standings of the season and leads the way heading into the LGCT of Mexico City.
